Our capital fund raising campaign begins and funds accumulate to purchase the land.
March
2021
CFCT receives a Special Use Permit from the City of Wilmington to use the site for its described purposes.
January 2023
Funds for land purchase are raised, the property option is executed and the property at 398-400 Pine Hills Drive is purchased by CFCT.
December
2020
CFCT acquires an option-to-buy the two lots located across from the University Housing Village under construction.
July
2020
Center for Christian Thought, Inc. is formed as a NC non-profit and IRS 501c(3) entity.
February 2024
Final approval to clear the site in anticipation of construction is received from the Technical Review Committee of the City of Wilmington.
August
2026
Final architectural drawings are received, our Executive Director is hired and on-campus ministry begins as Christian Study Center at UNCW!
